NFR Rain break

    This afternoon the rain stopped, the wind hadn't picked up, and I needed to fish. Found myself casting dry flies to cutt-throats in local water with good success during the evening hours. Felt good to be back on the water.

    Very nice work! The weather conditions sucked out my way, but I noticed (a bit too late to head out) that they were much nicer inland, especially up in the rain shadow of the Olympics.

    Dang! there's actually some breaks in the precip today, and Wedn looks to be clearing up,with Th looking like a nice day!;)
    Isn't there some flu going around?

    One of the student employees here walked in with the flu today, but I don't think I'll be able to use that as an excuse to skip out of work this week......

    Either you have a really, really bright headlamp, or you're fishin' in the southern hemisphere!!! Where I am, it's dark before the afternoon is over.

    Ha, yup. I realized that later too. My dog didn't like being left on shore.
