Hit the canal today with board member Eric (Troutrageous).
The forecast was for rain and 15+ mph winds. They got one part right but the flags stayed limp all day.
The water had a lot of color from last weeks rain and wind. It seemed to clear a bit as the day went on.
The best action was the hour before and after the high. It was pretty dead after that.
Collectively we went 3 for 11. Just couldn't keep them on the hook today.
Regardless it was a good all be it wet day on the water.
Here are a few pics from today.

Thanks Stonefish. One of these days I'll learn to get up and get out there earlier.

Nice work Brian! You guys found a better spot on the Canal than I did yesterday (although my weather was a bit more clement!).

I was 0 for 0 but did see resident Coho. As usual, 20 yards beyond the cast. Left around noon just as the rains picked up. Lots of small new slides and trees down. I also saw a pretty suspicious Kenmore Air Floatplane fly over twice, heading to and from either HC or South Sound. Which is why I am saying very publicly I went 0 for 0.

Worked the Jedi mind trick as what I suspect was Leland's plane flew overhead:

This is not the beach you are looking for...

But was unable to discern what beach(es) they were looking for.

Yes, just a small pod, moving north with the tide
