I need to replace a damaged stripping guide on a rod. What is the best way to remove the existing epoxy over the wraps so I can re-wrap in a new stripping guide?
Thanks
In addition to cutting the thread/finish (you do not have to go real deep) I use a little heat from a hair dryer to soften. It will peal right off. You also might cut a line at the outside edge as well or you can clean up after you get the thread off.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
