Does anybody know where I can get a replacement motor for my rod building lathe? thanks in advance!
You might try a place that deals with sewing machines. I haven't looked yet, but lowes might have something also. We get the motors for our drying motors there.
Would a electric bathroom fan motor work for you? Not sure of the size of a rod drying motor.
Try Grainger, that's where I bought mine.
Grainger has a real nice motor but I bought mine at a thrift store for $2.00
salvation Army thrift store is a great source. Also rotisserie motors (electric and battery opererated) motor from barbeques. I bought several @ $2.00 each. They break and you toss them couldn't be easier...
Thanks for all of the replies. Now that I have some good leads I know where to go to find some.
