This is another one for me, just in time for a week in the BC interior.
Mudhole MHx blank, titanium strippers, California buckeye burl reel seat, Cobalt Blue wraps with gold metallic, black and blue metallic trim.
Without CP the wraps look totally different in direct sun, shade, and indirect light.

This is my favorite blank for stillwaters. I built the same one for my wife several years ago and after I test casted it she never saw it again. I built this one for me so she could have her rod back.
It is slightly slower action and a bit less stiff (responsive) than modern fast action 9' rods, which suits my casting style nicely.
If you're familiar with the Common Cents System ERN: 5.5, AA: 69, CCF: 76 (as a 5wt).
I use a true 5wt WF line on it and it casts beautifully.
