Floated from Minam to Boggan's last week, ended up getting back a day later than planned due to excessive hangups. Man was it boney, but well worth it if you don't mind getting out and pushing every couple hours. Most people seem aware of this, because we didn't see a soul until Troy. Unfortunately, we didn't see any steelhead, although the water was chilly and it was cold at night, still up around 90 durring the day. Luckily we found quite a few resident rainbows which chowed anything on the surface. Most were sardines but we got a couple over 20. Great to see a NW river that remains in nature's grip.
