That is a good idea. Nothing like camping, hiking & fishing on the dry side.
I've had my eye on a few seep lakes as well.
P.S. Don't let Donato fool you. He's been to about as many of them as I have.
We might need to do a modified fly swap at lake side. I'm sure I could come up with a lake that has potential.
that sounds fun!
i'd be up for that too if the timing works. would be great to meet some of you guys and the seeps have called out to me for a long time. my son and i did a little scouting there last year but i think we timed it poorly.
if you do something, count me in. I live close enough but never get enough time to fish to just go out and explore.
We need a date and meeting place. I thinks Zen's place is where it's at.
I'd most likely skip the camping bit, but I'd love to get back out and bob around some seep lakes again. It's been a while since I've gone out there.
It will be lakeside and probably in the Columbia Wildlife Refuge as the April 1st lakes might provide okay fishing. And.... the weather will be warmer.
Lower Sage Lake has a camping area and a restroom.
I'm in. Probably do a three day trip down there. I could bring some cheap whiskey, venison kabobs, and maybe some marinated quail to share, for some flies of course.
