I have a Sage XP 590 2 pc, Scott SAS 6 weight 2 pc and a Dyna King Barracuda, full rotary vice for sale. I am not in a desperate need to sell these items, but I am seeking what an individual(s) will be willing to offer me. All items are used but in great condition. Please private me for further details and you could even come over and see them for yourself (West Seattle).

Asking $450 for it. Used at the most 6 times. In great condition and a fantastic rod to fish. I just have too many rods which hardly get used so I figured that other people would love to use a great rod that is sitting in a tube in my closet.

Obiwan, just a couple comments intended to be positive. You'd likely see more interest if your prices were posted and perhaps if you're going to ebay next, your prices could be closer to what ebay might fetch (ie. 590-2 XP, ~$200-325 ). XP's although no longer available still seem to have a steady stream showing up for sale so far such that pricing doesn't typically approach and rarely exceeds their $425-450 sellout pricing last summer for the 4pc's.

So are you saying that these prices should be lowered? Here let me apply my salesman pitch!! Fly fishing anglers throughout the Seattle area, I am a small one person business owner, who settles deals with a handshake and wants to sell you these items, but only after having you cast them on the pristine waters of Elliot Bay. You will note their feel and flex and make a non-pressured decision on your purchase. Financing options are available with good credit. At Obi's Cast and Save, we/I work hard to find you the right rod at the right price!!!

    That didn't do the trick!!!bawling:

Why does gas have to be the only thing that goes up in price. I need to start a new business plan!!:thumb:

I think what he is saying--as nice as he can...Someone would be a moron to pay that much for your XP.

Much Cheaper anywhere else....An Xp is an Xp is an xp. on Ebay they are alot closer to $400

Most local shops were letting go of their 4-piecers for 360.00-370.00 last fall.

I understand about the prices being too high. I haven't had time to research any real figures until now. I just found an apartment and will be moving soon!!

    Sage XP 590----$300
    Scott SAS------$150
    Dyna King Baracuda Trekker-----$150
    Dyna King Kingfisher----$50

Trade is an option since I want a 4wt or an 8wt

    Keep me posted
