Well, I thought the Yakima was going to be washed out by Sunday. I bailed out of White Pass after two runs, because I knew it was only going to get wetter. It hit 36 F at the top at 1400 yesterday. But I was surprised to find the east side partly sunny and the Umtanum hydrograph still down. I had a great time in the afternoon with my new centipede legged Skwala dry pattern. But I was finding some adults bigger than my #10 3x long copies. Are Skwalas (Skwalae ?) like some of those mayfly hatches where the individuals get larger at the peak of the hatch?
