Skykomish Steelhead?

    Any word on the Skykomish? I was thinking of making the trek up there and getting a line wet.

    No!

    I really don't know and haven't heard much except it's low and clear. Just haven't made it out lately. Just glad for gas to get to work.

    It's fishing well. It rises overnight as the days snowmelt hits. The color is perfect. I've hit a couple and Ross has one.

    river is dropping fast into summer baseflow. fishing was good in June, seems to have slowed though in the last couple weeks. still, there are fish around

    not much for steelhead anymore. the run was early, it is mainly all kings now. lots of natives to hatchery. that is lower on the river tho than what you are thinking probably.
