Ok just spent 5 days fishing the most amazing water of my life. Fishing was very good but also very difficult. As usual my legs and feet are destroyed from bush whacking through dense forest and stalking fish. All in all a very good trip. I hope to make it back one more time before the season is over in October. Here's photos. I think they speak for themselves.

Incredible. Soca again? That large grayling and rainbow toward the bottom of your report are pretty impressive. Waters looks great. How cold is the water?

The Soca is freezing year round. The grayling are my favorite and absolutely the toughest fish to catch. I think I threw 30 different flies at it before they would take. Plus they are spooky as hell.

The spooky grayling and the 30+ flies explains the state of your hat pretty well. That's what I figured was going on.

Yes I got tired of pulling out my fly box so I stocked up my hat. Much easier.

Yes, thanks for sharing your second trip with us. The water color was remarkable. In a few of those pics it looked downright tropical, especially due to the visibility. Nice looking fish.
