I'd like to but I'm on call the entire weekend, a quick over and back is all I can afford...dang it!

Roper for a guy who loves and appreciates the art of wood crafting this Smith pram has your name all over it. There are a lot of high elevation lakes here in eastern Arizona and I am seriously thinking of a pram again. This time I am sure it will be wood.

    At $650 - it's a more than a fair deal.

I love wooden boats (especially finished "bright", like this one), and if I hadn't spent all the time it takes to build one for myself already I'd be all over this!

The only issue I have is transportation. My truck bed is 6.5' and 48 between the wheel wells, that means a trailer. One more thing to store, license, etc. I don't want to keep a boat like that outside. Otherwise I'd pick it up in a heartbeat...dang.

    Roper,
I had the same thoughts when I purchased my alum pram for my ford ranger.
I built a platform out of 2x6 to match the height of the wheel well. Put caster wheels on the edge to roll the pram up on the platform. I can load and unload it by myself even with my bad shoulder. Tailgate must be down when transporting to the lake. When I need the truck bed the platform is light enough to lift out.

Mark. I have a canopy on the truck full time. Add to that I travel down lots of dusty roads...it just seems hard to keep the pram looking nice and not mess up the finish. But I'm still thinking about it...

    Roper,

The boat width narrows from top to bottom. The max width of 52" at the top rail most likely narrows to under 48' I can check for you tonight and post my findings.

Open up Photos. Find the picture on the camera roll or other folder. Select it. When it opens, you'll see an edit button in the top right.

Select edit. When it opens for editing, you'll see a curved arrow in the bottom left of the toolbar.

When you hit the arrow, the picture rotates. Hit it repeatedly until it is in the desired orientation.
