Flies are done and going into the mail today.
update: Puget Bugs mailed out yesterday.
Halcyon's Cataloochee Ladies arrived yesterday. This is gonna be one sweet swap.
And then come my flies... Kent, I'll swing by the office with them probably next Thursday if that works for you?
kent have you received mine yet? should have by now.
Decided on the fly...
size 20 baetis soft hackle.... pretty easy to tie, deadly effective...
Sorry Mike - yes I got them Wednesday. Nicely tied and good-looking. They weren't toe-tagged though. What's the name of the pattern?
I also got Banzai's beautiful Puget Bugs in today's mail.
no name, the body is the same as an annelid worm that worked so well on the san juan river and i just through a hackle on it. it seems to work.
now that I am back at school, I will have time to tie up my flies and get em' shipped out. I am thinking something like a bloody mary.
I've got ten tied up that seem good enough to send. With a little effort in the next couple of days I should be finished and have mine on the way. Sounds as if they'll be in some fancy company - don't look too close at mine, Kent!
I guarentee you'll find nothing fancy about mine.:hmmm:
All tied up and should hit the mail in a day or two. I use a lot of these, and having my supply of them this high is rare. It is almost tearful to think of them leaving...bawling: :beathead:
I've decided on a bread crust size 14. Will mail them on Monday.
Here's an update as of Wednesday, January 11:
halcyon - flies received
Banzai - flies received
Mike Doughty - flies received
Wayne Jordan - flies received
I've settled on a pattern and will begin tying this weekend. How are the rest of you coming along?
Tyers block at the moment. Got to get going. Have to finish a box I'm tying for our club banquet on the 21st. Have twenty flies for it and just can't get started on the rest. Too busy looking at new rods.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I started, then got sick and now need to get back at it...
