Nice one there for sure. Way to go!
Great fish, congrats.
Awesome fish! What size rod?
Beautiful fish! Are all those brown spots sea-lice? Freshest of the fresh!
As a searun fanatic of over 35 years I have yet to put a cutt of that size to hand. Congrats Matthew that is a real trophy for sure.
That's awsome, congrats
Jordan, yes, using a two hander on the beach. Sometimes I use it as a single hand, and sometimes with both hands, just depends on the conditions or my mood. James, it's a 5wt.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm not one to usually post a report, but this just had to be shared. I know I may very well never see another fish like this in my lifetime, but I'm happy to know they are out there! I hope this bodes well for the src populations in the future.
Nice fish, that truly is a monster searun. I can't get over the size of the tail on that thing, awesome!
Good thing you posted this before today. NooooooOne would believe you.
You sure you didn't Photoshop that.
Congrats on a real trophy! Well done.
That's a real dandy, Matthew! Very good work being there in the right place at the right time and with the right 'tude!
We sure as hell will be suspicious of your hero shots from now on, Jeff!
Good one Jeff, but I posted it yesterday!
Very cool! Nice work!
