T what for 275 skagit short?

  1. i have a fast sinking poly leader on there now, what kind of T-series heads is everyone throwing on there 4 to 5 wt doubleys?

    eight. better yet, get one of the airflo delta 13' tips in the lightest poss. tthey are tapered type 3-6 etc. great for lightly weighted trout bugs. after all you wont be steelheading with a 4-5. hopefully:rolleyes:

    The only thing i have found my 5 wt spey casts well are the salmon stealhead poly leaders. If you get a pack of tippet rings you canntie them to the end since they are tapered. Then you can just keep adding tippet (mono for you) they cast well. Make sure you get the salmon/steelhead ones. The trouts are too light to throw medium to large flies

    As heavy as 9 feet T11 comfortably. But have done 9' of T14 and its a little clunky but reasonable with a good setup and technique...

    But that's on the extreme end of things
