Taylor opens this weekend, right? Any advice or thoughts about fishing it? How is it anyway?

    Thanks!

Fished the Taylor a few times last year and plan to a few times again this year. It is set up for caught and release only so it may improve with time. So far the trout are small but fun and will take a dry fly in the right areas. It is a good river to wade fish and get better on but I do not feel it really has any fish that have alot of size. There are parts though that you can sight fish in and practice your stalking for rivers that the fish are bigger. The Pratt does get many fly fishers on it, it is some what well known but if you are willing to hike you can find parts to have for a while to yourself. I would give the river a c plus. :BIGSMILE
