The girlfriend had a mental slip up and let the rainfly of my tent touch the top of a propane lantern and melted a hole in my rainfly. The hole is approx 2"x3.5" and in the vestibule portion of the tent. Any recommendations on how to patch the hole?

Fabric stores have GoreTex patch kits, iron on or stick on. I'll still use Goop post ironing, etc to add extra insurance.

I'll second the recommendation for Rainy Pass if you're not into DIY. They've served me well for a lot of repairs over many years.
