Great clips ..... even if the 'music' is a bit annoying.

The only thing better is watching the man do it in person. Pure poetry!

To all fly fishermen the cast should be the most important element to fly fishing whether it is a single hand rod or a two hand rod. Without the cast there will be no catching or at the very least without a good cast the catch will be limited.

I guide in a fishery where the "cast" is everything. I get to meet folks everyday who have negleted it under the bullshit "all fish are hooked under 40 feet away" guise and are pummelled into reallity in about the first 5 minutes when they realize they not only can't but have no chance at making a tough into the wind cast with the fish of a lifetime on the other end. Reality comes fast on the flats with 10-15 pound bones and 20 mile an hour winds matched up. Casting IS everything. Nice to watch the old Riverkeeper show us how it's done. Mike has been, is and always be one of the top anglers/casters/conservationists and teachers in the world. Even if he is a grumpy fucker sometimes!:D To you riverkeeper!!:beer1::beer1::beer1::beer1::beer1::beer1: Coach

Thanks Guys those are pretty big words to live up to. I'll do my best. I hope you like the videos, my plan is to keep making more segments until I have enough for a couple of full length videos on casting and fishing and to add them to a new information type web site.I have tried for years to get someone to do a video on casting with me but so far it hasn't happened so I decided to try to do it myself and believe me learning all this stuff isn't easy for a Tech Challenged old guide like me.So thanks to Bert Kinghorn,Rick Wiita , Ian Stubbs and Jason Chang for all your patience and help. And to everyone else at the clinic for your moral support and for teaching me as much as I have taught you.MK
