NFR This should stir the ol' cake batter....

"My fake plants died because i forgot to pretend to water them."
"I'm against picketing but i don't know how to show it."
"I used to do drugs. I still do, but i also used to."
Paraphrasing these, but some of my favorite Hedberg jokes. I also liked Steven Wright. Similar styles.
Hedberg was so awesome. Maybe it's the stoner in me but he kills me.

My favorite Hedberg bit...."Who the fuck would make their plants hard to reach?" lol

You at least shared a photo of yourself standing in a river with a fly rod... that wasn't just for show was it?
Oh yes hahahaha....i did! i forgot that photo....( And no it wasn't just for show. I was really fishing, though i don't believe i caught anything much on that Foss River. )BUT i didn't include a fishing report with it! And there was no photo of a fish. (I don't fish with a camera or phone.) I should find my old fishing journal from my first few trips, which is fairly hilarious about the fish i caught and the fish i didn't catch and how pissed i am at times and how many flies i lost. It also includes some drawings which are hysterical, usually using my hand to scale.

Thanks @Nick Clayton for posting that. I love that hard to reach plant joke too! Damn i wish he was still around.

Freestoneangler has made himself the fishing post czar. What i need to know is how many fishing reports are we supposed to put up in relation to the number of posts? Is there a certain percentage we need to follow: i.e. For example when i hit 11,000 posts should i have 110 fishing reports?
Certainly hope not; it's -17 and 7 fresh inches of snow, so no fishing reports. Went on a spending frenzy last fall, so nothing to buy either. Threads like these are nice.

My favorite was the joke about the Dufresnes' at the restaurant,"Bush, search party of three. You can eat when you find the Dufresnes'".Mitch was one of a kind.
Came up with a drummer joke last night, see how you like this,"We keep losing our drummer, after every gig,he keeps getting on the short bus".

Now that you brought up Czars, how many did O'Blameless appoint as part of his shadow government? Czar appointments should have stirred the ol' cake batter - and no doubt would have if a Republican president had displayed such arrogance. Concerning fishing reports, it's clear many on the forum joined to discuss anything but fly fishing. I think I'll join a vegan forum and share BBQ and smoked meat recipes.

There is a solution to that problem. 72F, sunny, and light breeze here in Yuma. New neighbor at the park shared some intel on local irrigation canal fishing. He fishes them for channel catfish and the pictures shared were pretty impressive - 18# this years best. Says there are good numbers of SMB and LMB - hoping so. Stay tune for the upcoming "Somewhere in Arizona" thread.

I plead Guilty. However, from what i can tell, i have a feeling that quite a few people here would rather read posts made by some of us whom you may deem not worthy to be here than to read anything that you wrote.

If there is a rule by the moderator about the number of fishing reports required for membership, please let me know.

The 70's and 80's had many great artists and groups coming through Seattle. I have great memories of those who I was fortunate enough to meet. Some that stand out are Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Crosby Stills and Nash, Neil Young, Alice Cooper, Jeff Beck, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Johnny Winter, Deep Purple, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, Robert Plant. Oh, and I did meet a Beatle too. Paul.
First concert I ever went to,I saw Jeff Beck,Argent and Foghat's first American tour for $3.50.Second one was Pink Floyd, they were playing "Dark Side" before the record had come out. That one cost $4.00.Those were the days.
