My wife and I had a great day of fishing and learning with guide Bob Triggs yesterday and it ended with a beautiful fish. My first wild Coho on a fly. We're both hooked! Thanks Bob!!

And yes, that is my 5wt sitting on the bottom... Poor rod deserved better after what it just went through.

Nice one, looks like you got into a solid shouldered fish there. How'd the wife make out?

Nice one. I have a day fishing with Bob coming up on September 20. Hope I have the same luck as you.

She didn't have any luck but I think she is motivated and not discouraged, so that's good.

Nice fish. Like I said the other day once you tie into a nice Coho the hook is set in you as hard as you will ever be able to set one in a fish.

Are you sure it's not a >20 inch cutthroat?

    Well done Jered and Bob!

The perfect example of a coho at its absolute prime. Love the appearance of maturing coho this time of year. As their scales set (tighten up) with maturity and the fish is still chrome bright each scale stands out and looks as if it has been outlined by a fine tip marker.
