Oct 1 the wife and I are flying to the U.P. to visit my MIL.
She lives in Paridise right on the shores of Lake Superior.
Thinking I should try to get a little fishing in although won't have a lot of time.
I could just cast off her beach but more interested in any rivers or streams that might be fun to try out.
    Any Yuppers here?
    Thanks. :beer2:

Originally from the lower peninsula, but I know some areas around there...East Branch of the Tahquamenon River is a blue ribbon stream, and the Two-Hearted river, is the classic trout stream Hemigway wrote about...all very beautiful. Oct may be a bit tough though, some rivers are closed then (check regs) and most of the salmon runs will be dwindling down. You can still get some nice trout fishing in, and possible into some coho if they run into those rivers. Good luck! Should have some nice fall colors to view as well! :thumb:
