I'm in the same boat! I'll stick with Redington because I can drive over to the factory for free replacements, but those zipper fronts are tempting. Problem is I just bought the Sonic Pros last season.

I got the Redingtons at the beginning of last year. They fit me well and so far no problems. And I love the zipper.

Went with the Zipper fronts. Ill let you guys know how they work out. Honestly as long as they keep me dry ill be happy, i know ill have quicker access to take care of business.

Glad to see you found a sale pair. At that price, you can't go wrong. The features are great.

I've worn the Sonic Pros for two winters now, and recently have experienced a lot of "seep" leaks, where it seems the waterproof fabric fails with holes smaller than pinhole leaks, but water beads up through them enough to make for damp legs after a day's fishing. Same thing happened with my Dan Baileys, but they wore longer before this condition developed. Not sure if I should see if Redington will replace them or not.

Try using some Revivex or other waterproof fabric "conditioner" product on them. This has helped with my Filson wading jacket.

Interesting site, Luke. I'll have to keep an eye on it. The prices are definitely right.

I'm thinking of going with the Orvis Sonic convertibles myself. Hoping there's a sale between now and next season...
