I prefer the drawn one over the water-color because it looks more like a steelhead. But is this a WFF event? Just curious? If it is, should the emblem be a WFF emblem? If not, maybe we should call it something else. Like "I slapped the Hoh...2009!" Or "It sure was a Hoh lotta fun!"...that was lame. Sorry. OK, how about this, "Show the Hoh some respect, 2009!"

So what are reasonable flows for the Hoh? Right now it's at 1,540. That seems good, but I haven't fished the Hoh before.

Have we commited to a date? Also, Buck, that flow can vary at any time. It's the rain forest over there. Could spike at any time. Depending on rainfall they get. So it's one you literally have to play by ear up until the last minute.

I think this is the date. I'm still a maybe, but I hope to make it for at least a day or so. I have a "that's fine?" so far, but we are expecting a baby girl around the 1st, so we will see how it goes. :hmmm:

    The WFF HOH 2009 will be the weekends of March 21 & 22 through 28th & 29th.

Another idea for a Shirt. Scoones had the money going to our fav steelhead crusade. I would pay 35 to 50 for a fond memory considering it's all I walked away with last year. But printing a 100 shirts just baffles me. My mom is a genius with computer driven sewing machines. She might have an idea. At least figure out where we could get fifty feel goods on the cheap.

I don't know about flows. Been lucky to fish when I do show up so far.

Those dates, if the baby doesn't come late, should work. I just have to pick one of those weekends. Jerry, what dates do you think you'll make? Matt, you going the whole time? Mumbles, what about you? JD, you too????

Matt indicateds he will be there the whole time. I will have one of those Fridays off...the 27th. I could do the F, S, S of the final weekend without even arranging time off of work. The misses may be on terminal leave preparing for her military retirement. Her mom may even be here, so I'd feel better leaving the house for a multi-day trip not sticking her with all parental duties for the weekend. FishDontCare may even consider flying up from Redlands, CA. If he does I'll hopefully coordinate an airport run to collect him. I guess if he is reading this and he flies in Thursday the 26th he and I could head out there that night, throw up a tent in the dark (and rain) and have some time on the water on Friday before the weekend warrior crowd arrives. Can anyone tell that the wheels are turning and I'm getting excited. A lot can throw me off track based on work, kids and wife's schedule, but if I plan it out then this could be a blast for me.

I'm thinking I may be there for the last weekend. I have vacation the next week (end of March/first of April) so may be able to swing that weekend. Kids spring break. May do both weekends, but if I do it, probably the last weekend for sure.

Just asking, but what did Chris pay for those shirts last year.

When my wife got my hat made up last year it only cost here $9.50 Including the hat/cap. And she also gets her Tshirts done up for where she works for only $10.00.

I guess that things are cheaper here.

If Jim can get things done cheaper there maybe we can keep him happy by sending him a project to do and he can stay off my ass for 30 minutes. BTW Jim, I think that is a great point to bring up. Shopping our dollars is always a fine idea.
