Were any of you in waders walking down SR302 today?

Could be planning on standing in the water for a long time or wading up to their waist. If they were walking that far I wouldnt want to make that walk home in wet shorts, your balls would get all chafed.

Old folks get cold. Of course no one here would know that.

I hate wet wading. Seriously. Who would do that when comfortable waders are an option. Plus goretex is a proven deterrent to otter bites.

  4. wet wading is the business. I can just piss my pants while I fish. this equals more quality casts and time with my fly in the water

I like wet wading. I wear waders most of fall and all of winter and then most of spring. The first chance i get to wet wade and leave the waders at home, i am a happy camper.

What a bunch of wussies. If the air and water are above 60-65*F, I'm getting wet. And yes, even past the "point of no return." Maybe I just run hot, but I hate sweating in waders. Re. chaffing, you should look into ExOfficio undies and synthetic shorts.

I guess I live in a different Washington. It doesn't get hot enough to sweat down here :) Plus, the Kalama gets a lot of longview-ites at this time of year floating in it. Unless you've got all your shots, I wouldn't want to actually touch the water.

That is why divers drink lots of coffee. The pause that refreshes, keeps you warm for quite awhile. :)
Sadly, most guys are wearing dry suits today. Pussies.

As a young man, I tried to convince my girl friend that wet wading was
the way go go. She didn't seem to think so.

I never wade any deeper than my calf's. So I can't piss my pants. It would show.

Me too. But only around my ankles:rolleyes:. Since I'm wading, it doesn't matter. And keeps my feet warm, for a while.
