Thanks for the hooks! Something big and ugly coming your way!
You got a fly comin' your way.
I'm REALLY excited to see what I get!
An envelope to you is in the mail. Thanks again.
Im workin on it, just been busy, but theyll be worth the wait.
I have not had time to tie either, but I will tie up a few items this weekend (I hope)
FINALLY, got some coming your way, cap.I did some different, original stuff thats pretty damn cool.Minnows, sculpins,a shrimp,a crawdad, even a floatin'/divin' creation. Thanks again for the hooks!
I dont have any pics but here on the wrong coast I tie a ton of striper flies 4/0s. I would gladly send you back some in exchange for some of those (I would love to fine some hooks that were that long of a shank)
Are there any more hooks? I love to tie these sweet little bass bugs with 4\0 and 5\0 long shanks...
Four of these magnificent specimens of humanity returned to me some AMAZING flies.
Remember, these hooks are the size of a THUMB. They are BIG (to me anyway).
I am literally STUNNED at the quality of the flies that I received! You guys are INCREDIBLE.
I'm sorry this is so late, but I've misplaced one of the sets of flies (I think its in my vest at my parents' house). I was going to wait until I had them all but screw it, I'll post them as I find them.
So first, here are some the flies that Mumbles sent me in return for a handful of hooks.
And here are the a couple of Spey flies that Bruce Harang sent me. These are gorgeous.
Here is a whole POD of flies that Patrick Stewart sent (I think his handle is P-FITZ98).
Are these wild or what? I bet I'd catch some real beasts if I fished these flies.
The ps perch is so rapala. Oh man, it's awesome, I only said that cuz I lack the skill to tie it. Nice work
