With its origins being in Duvall, I'd be surprised if you had a problem with any of it.
I liked it a bunch. The unscripted conversation between friends is what makes it interesting to listen to for me. Love the idea of the guide stories.
Maybe it's just me, but it seemed like Evan's voice was a lot louder than the rest. Derek in particular seemed pretty quiet at times.
Also, any plans to get the show into the iTunes store, or at least set up an RSS feed so I can subscribe to it?
1st line: Thank you!
2nd line: Yes, they are quite a bit quieter. I had a hard time keeping them talking in to their mics at close range. It's a tough habit to get in to. With a little disciplinary action, they will be leaning in more and more.
3rd line: iTunes approval is pending. RSS feed is getting linked on the front page of our website here shortly
I plead the 8th; a couple pints of 8% homebrew should have made me a bit louder, but your motivational style is working for me, Evan...
I talked into the mic the whole time. The problem is that I'm an unhurried conversationalist and often times get talked over. Especially by Evan, who has a cooler mic and a dictatorial demeanor. He's absolutely hell to work for. Thank god for podcast unions.
Are you and Derek getting $15.00/hour?
Where's the download link at..I need something to listen to at work
The link that says "download"
Thanks for the reply but I tried that and it just streams it on my phone instead of downloading an mp3 file.
Edit: nevermind I figured it out this old phone just sucks
Sure you're not hitting the other link? When I click the download link, it saves the file. Might be an issue with the way your phone handles those kinds of things.
Yup was just this old phone going full retard. Thanks bro namath
I thought it was a lot of fun!
I tried to listen to it on my phone. But the liquor kicked in around the ten minute mark and it all went to hell. Will try again when I have time but 30 minutes is a commitment.
I enjoyed it though. You funny men.
30mins? It's almost 2hrs! You don't have to listen all at once. Given that the episodes will be spaced out by a week or two, it gives people time to listen to bits an pieces, and really take the time to digest the information and reflect on the deep discussion.
Q: What happens when you given Evan, Itchy and Derek microphones?
A: Itchy belts out Stevie Nicks tunes, two other mics drop to the floor in musical awe
There is musical genious there and given you guys take requests, I for one want to hear:
"Stop Draggin' my heart around"
Derek and Evan as the SiameseTom Petty
Kirk as Stevie Nicks
The weight of the words indeed...
