My Sig. Seriously, I'm not floating something that would require anything like a "wilderness" rescue, so I've got patch stuff, spare oarlock, first aid, and that's about it.

Get me out in the forest though, and that's a completely different story. There, I've got my hunting knife, sharpener, rain shell, firestarting materials, emergency food, water, small 1st aid stuff, whistle, 550 cord, multi-tool, and a hunter's axe. There's nothing I can't make with that stuff.

The bag is a 1 gal. ziplock. : whistle, multi tool, lighter, w/p matches, w/p band aids, I.D., pen, mirror, garbage bag, athletic tape, hand sanitizer. latex gloves, t.p.
The 2 1/2 gal. bucket for the pontoon boat has the pump, patch kit, water, knife, fish club, regs book, zip ties, tie down, rope, life vest( wrapped around bucket in cooler) flash light, fish towel and my ziplock bag on top.

I also carry a dry bag on all floats, clothes, raingear, towel, water.

Great to see you guys are prepared. Nothing's worse than being cold, wet, and unprepared...

I have s dry bag with a change of clothes for all onboard and in that bag is PVC tape, the kind used for under ground pipes. A Multi-tool, crescent wrench, flashlight, mirror, emergency shelters and a cable saw. On my person, and I recommend you do the same are:
Matches in a waterproof container, Multi-tool, small flashlight and a whistle.
