    Lou,
Not super supple but supple enough, if that makes sense.
Can be just a bit wild when you pull it out of the package, though I really like how it looks.

I might have to try that stuff.

Say "supple ripple" really fast a hundred times. Or, "super supple." Then untie the wind knot in your tongue . . .

Got a new macro lens for my camera today; a lot of up close fly shots to come!

Pictured below are two shots of a recent favorite, emerging Caddis. Tied on an orvis klinkhammer size 14 hook.

With the orange, now those patterns are readily identifiable as SF-tied, @Stonefish ! Those look great.

I've thought about joining a swap with guys down there, but figured postage and delay time would be a deal breaker. Not sure you could get further away from Australia than Finland! Some great tiers on that forum. Might have to join the next saltwater swap if they'll let me.

    Nice, buggy-looking nymphs BTW.

Really dig that top one Brian! I've been tying a similar pattern this year but I think I like yours better.

Are you using a new vise these days?

Beg to differ with @Nick Clayton - I like them both! I might be able to tie something close to the top fly (assuming my home tying supplies increase (again)) but that bottom fly is beyond me.

    Nick,
I bought a HMH vise for tying tubes, but still tie the majority of my flies on the old Regal. It is in need of a serious tune up though.
