Shit, missed this one until now...
tpugliese, Nice set to do both. That would be a real bonus to get more in the same area. My wood carving is all in the garage/shop for now. I really don't need that much space for the carving yet. When I do need space I'll have to stay in the shop because there's no more room by my fly tying desk.
Mine looks like this
i seriously envy you, your tying space, and the fish that are caught on the flies tied in such a killer tying room!
Thanks but the pics you saw were of my old room, I wasn't able to edit the post fast enough.
Looks good and with plenty of room. I assume you're commercial or tie in a shop. nice job anyway.
i'll post a pic of my cramped space tomorrow
Better now, just cleaned it up, http://evoanglers.blogspot.com/2011/01/tying-room-clean-up-2011-complete.html
Jergens: Looked at your blog. What is a dubbing box?
Each compartment has a little hole for dispensing the dubbing. You can get them empty at most fly shops, and it organizes dubbing much better than a bunch of little bags floating around.
Speychucker, Bighorn - I'm getting hard looking at your tying space. Is that normal? Maybe it's time to Ask Citori.
I also did the craigslist roll top desk, and I love it. Just like Mumbles, I am finally out of the cold garage.:thumb: I thought I had a lot of materials, but some of you guys have me beat.
