How many of these (Rezzies) are lost to harbor seal/sea lion predation? I have seen one or more of these factory trawlers cruising the shoreline every single time I have been out in my very short SRC career. I have to believe they are a nice snack for them? I also would suspect they scare the hell out of any schools in the area and make them less likely to bite??
Do you suppose SRC's are less likely to be a source of their diet... they are more of a solo fish aren't they?
They are a nice snack for them as they taste like chicken
I have caught them while harbor seals were actively feeding on them in the North Sound
