I have read this forum for a while now as I have been researching where to fish on my upcoming trip to Seattle. I will be there labor day weekend and am willing to travel a pretty good distance to fish. I plan on hiring a guide, but really don't know much about what the state has to offer. I would prefer to fish for native salmonids, but other than that no real preference. Of course, steelhead and salmon were the first thing to come to mind, but I didn't really know if catching a wild fish this time of year was possible. Some of the other things I have learned about and would be interested in are coastal cutthroat and fishing Puget Sound. I guess what I am getting at is, where would you fish if you were from out of town and only had one/two days to do so within a 2 or 3 hours of downtown Seattle? Thanks in advance.
