This thread just oozes awesomeness. I belive that I'll be there to meet many and learn much. The misses is actually gonna bring the rod I built for her and might join in one of the 101 seminars on the water while I entertain the girlies. Very excited about this weekend out with the family and rubbing elbows with the likes of you all!

I would be there if I didn't have to work that day  Sounds like it will be a great event though, hope everyone has a great time.

My husband, myself and a friend are going. Heading to Maltby cafe for an early breakfast and then off to the expo. Very excited as I am so new to the sport I have only cast on the grass...hoping to learn a lot and maybe make a fishing buddy or two...

Welcome Faywell. I hope that my wife can find some inspiring mojo too, be it fun in casting, friends, gear or a new hobby. She deserves it. I've avoided trying to teach her in the hope that she'll go to something like this and roll up her sleeves.

Yee-freakin-ha!! Not only do I get to go, her Ladyship will be going, and wants to hit the seminars to learn to chase the trout. Jerry, I'll stop by the PHW booth to say "hi". I'm hoping Chuck will be there-haven't seen him since last year, and I owe him a cigar. Hell, maybe I'll even wear the Utilikilt for this one!!!

I was thinking it'd be a great time to get out on the Cedar, while every other flyfisherman is off the water!!:thumb: Of course, I wouldn't want to miss the event, so I'll be bringing my wife who is new to flyfishing and caught her first trout on her new rod in Colorado last month, along with our 3 boys (12, 10 and 8 yrs old) who all have their own flyrods and are getting a huge headstart on me!

Looking forward to seeing everything and meeting some new people - should be blast. :beer1:
