    Did anyone happen to be around the lake on new year's day? Club cancelled a outing there. Called off due to freezing temps and W... forecast of 20 plus.

    Damn! I knew it.

    When I got the notice the day before that it was cancelled, I said to myself, "Jeff, you have 4wd w/studs. Screw the weather forecast.' Then I got to thinking about the wind and said no.

    Yeah the drive was a little dicey in the dark and fog that morning but nothing 50mph couldn't cure. Usually winds short of 20 for Anacortes will equate to fishable at Pass.

    Tim, we had the most snow....damn near 5"! Most of it still hasn't melted.3" still on the lawn....:eek:
