Now that things have wrapped up I wanna read some good fishin stories. I'm sure some of you actually fish I wanna hear what you saw out there, maybe a little about what ya learned. Did you finally get your first? What about the one that got away? I'll leave it up to you. After starting off low, clear and cold Mother Nature really turned the water on. All hail gore tex! I had a lot going on at work and at home, so I fished 1-2 times a week until puget sound closed and then made 3 short weekend trips to the coast. I was lucky to sneak in on good water each time and found a few that wanted to chase. Saw some new rivers, fished familiar haunts with good buds. Had a blast. My favorite moment was my cousin finding his first winter fish on the swing on a snowy feb morning. Picked my pocket hard. I deserved it after sneakin em out from behind him for two years. His first day out with a click pawl reel too, some priceless moments battling that chrome hen. I'll never forget it.
