yesterday I landed about 8 in 1.5 hrs in fresh water, 1 was 18 inches. I was catching these rainbow lookin things, they had red squares blothes down there side silver no yellow like cutthroat, resident steelhead I suppose, they fight like wild sea-trout, but what flies work for them in fresh water there is a significant population, I'm goona try the reverse spider here before work but was wondering if any other patterns work in this situation. Bill Herzog saig on another forum he caught his biggest cutthroat ever before here. he incripted me and a buddy. said theres steelhead there, so I guess I found a new hole. tight lines, Ben
