This is dryline season....why with the tips? Desperate?? amateur?? caveman?? I love throwing a longline and enjoy shorties too, but now is the time to single spey and snake roll...for get about the snap t's and dump casts. .small flies and hair wings abound. No shanks, double bunnies, or moal leeches. Nothing longer then 2 inches and sparsely tied. That's what summer fishing is to me....oh well
IRA, I think you have to give credit where credit is due. I approached the stream, observed conditions, selected my target species and appropriate fly to sort through the pinks and lock into an irafish and placed a beautiful cast into prime holding water...,.... And boom! There he is!
Ok, fine, but just like in Jaws, you are going to need a bigger boat!
Now give credit where credit is due. I watched the fly grabbed it, tied it around a stump and sat back in the current, grabbed some popcorn and enjoyed the show of you fighting a loosing battle.
Irafish was definitely a player. He moved aggressively through the water column and took solid without hesitation. Very sporting of DustinChromers if I must say so myself. Holding my breath to see how he handles the release. Standing by with long handled rubber net just in case.
But which Chromer did I hook? Obviously not the talented one based on these lame attempts. What I saw DC was you grabbing your own schizophrenic tail, the slap of your own whitewashed words and then a good self dunking. Poor guy doesn't even know that he has himself all wrapped up in the net of his own multiple personalities. How'd you hold yourself up for that hero shot?
What is it if the person who makes up indicator technique really had none desire to mix conventional fishing with fly for more results but actually was a pre-internet troll knowingly paving the way for future generations to engage. I am thinking you have all be caught. Who did this first invention anyways? Was he a gear angler looking to take gear to fly, or was he a fly fisher looking to gain results from adding gear?
I was thinking the same thing. Funny thing is I wasn't responding to him with my post. He never did really understand that. He might have if he had read my post in the first place. Although I did just realize that I quoted his post and not the one before it. Now I see why he chimed in.
I'm appalled! I've never been treated so horribly. I'm taking my ball and going home.
