Thanks - I'll tell my friends from Illinois - they come here about three times a year.

Thanks TeeDub. I appreciate the recommendation. I was fishing out in front of the cabin today and did pretty well. That part of the river is a lot of fun to explore.

We went back and forth on whether to allow pets. I think most peoples would be well behaved. But all it takes is one dog to pee all over the place, fleas etc. and you have problems. The entire house is carpetted.
People with pets are often like people with children; they think their pet is perfect, it's the other peoples pet that are the problem. We have two dogs; one of them can't be trusted (it's a Shih Tzu) the other (a lab/shepherd mix) is great. We love dogs but it just doesn't work with the rental that we have. Some day soon I am sure we will go with hard wood floors throughout and that will be a better fit with dogs.

Totally understand. Looks like a really nice place! My dog goes everywhere with me including work. Even when we travel and get pet friendly rooms I always bring a couple blankets to lay on the floor to keep any hair or dirt to the minimum. It's my responsibility to keep the rooms as clean as possible even though pets are allowed.
