I read a good life wasted on the road to and from Salmon camp. Entertaining for sure.

Bob Arnold's Steelhead Water ranks quite high on my list. His second book Steelhead & the floating line was the first Steelhead specific book I ever purchased. I read it repeatedly through the years getting a better grasp each time.

I'm about through Greased Line Fishing for Salmon [and Steelhead] Picked up a used copy on a whim. What an amazing book.. I never dreamed it would contain so much content grabbing my interest! The wheels for this book took motion in 1933.. It's destined to remain a timeless read.

Hard to pick specific books.. I seem to have many favorite authors.

It had been so long since I've read any Harry Middleton books, but On the Spine of Time and all the rest of his books are really worth a read-his life ended much too soon! Rick

I am currently re-reading "The Endurance" by Caroline Alexander. This is the account of the Shackleton expedition to Antarctica. Not a fishing book by any stretch of the imagination (although they did take creatures from the sea). If you've never read this book, do yourself a favor, and see if you have the grit to survive.

Zane Greys books on fishing when I can get ahold and afford them. I even read a few of his westerns and while ok they are not what I like.
    Haig Browns books
Patrick's Mc something or other books are funny as hell or at least the ones I have read so far. Just can not remember his last name right know.
