Suspender pod; foam ball wrapped in nylon stocking mesh
I tyed this pattern because of the suspender pod intrigued me. It's the styrofoam found in most packing crates. Bust it apart and inside you'll find many small balls that are welded together to form the block. Take your dubbing needle and start breaking these "balls" off. size the balls to your hook size and wrap them in nylon stocking and tye in behind the eye. then start at the tag end and tye your fly forward. simple yet, cool pattern in a glass of water.
Looks like it'll catch fish,I'll try it.

    "chemically dependent?"
Nice tie Randy. I like the foam ball idea.
