    Macrolens photo of a Mayfly Nymph? I'm planning of cataloging the most prolific food sources I find on trips and will post the images I think will add value along with the locations.

    Indeed a mayfly nymph, obvious from the three cerci (or tails)...and it's from the genus heptagenia, defined by the flat, saucer-shaped head and robust legs. This will come off as a part of an important hatch this summer, the Pale Evening Dun.
