Peacock bass fishing at end of March 2010 in Miami canals. Landed 24 fish to 6 1/4 lbs on the fly. Fish are getting ready to bed up and are very aggressive. Males have a prominent bump on head. Used colorful clousers (chartreuse/pink, pink/yellow, etc) mainly to see the fly being taken. Mainly sight fishing.

Chris, that is a great picture. I'm not a big fan of introduced species, but those are amazing fish. One of my first research papers compared convergence in the feeding process of peacock bass and another cichlid (Severums) with largemouths and bluegills.
