    Fishboy, Thanks. It probably took 8 hours actual working time to build. To glue, shape, and fit the cork grip, bond the grip and reel seat parts, wrap and epoxy the guides.
    Turkey hunting? Damned right I'm still up for it! I'll be scouting during February and March for roosting areas.

    Nice work Roper....I have a production model Ultra......I love the rod but yours looks cooler. I've always wondered if I'll get into building rods when I'm an old fart........ Smile Wink
