    This was my first use of pearlescent thread, I used it as an accent on all wrappings, and I made my fish measure out of it. In bright light, the pearlescent thread glows with the color of the rod blank, in this case, green. Forcast blanks are real tip sensitive, and should not be workhorsed, they are a blast to catch fish on, as they are so sensitive. This 5 wt will feel like a 3 wt.
