    Mine (the black one) is capped on one end / (the gray one) is uncapped


    Used a dremal tool to cut and sand

    Be the guide...
    I like it - mainly if all I do is trolling or bobber fishing. But if i'm doing much casting - especially if it's windy, i'm sure i'd be snagging the rods that are sticking up and would prefer to have them laying down in that case. Same for if I took them on the river - you'd have to be on the lookout for overhanging branches. Have you tried this setup on moving water or while doing a lot of casting? Do you tend to keep the rods together or in 1/2 while on the holder?
