    Starting frome the front:

Brass Eyes, 35mm Wadington shank, black crosscut rabbit with red hackle palmered through, red arctic fox at the junction, 50lbs braided line, #2 Steelhead hook girth hitched with black bunny tied matuka style (and a little red arctic fox). This fly is about 4 inches long, and CaddisMadness has named it appropriately
    "el diablo"

Beauty! Has that Scott Arc been getting any exercise?

I sold it on Ebay, your 40.00 check will be in the mail....actually, I've been using it a bit, I like it a lot better than my derek brown (it's not as powerful, but it sort of casts itself). The problem up here, is that it is so windy a lot of the time, and I'm not very good at spey casting in the wind, also , I find I'm wading very deep and far away from shore, and it is a royal pain landing fish with the long rod.

I noticed the same thing about ease of casting versus the Arc and an older Winston Bama has. However, I suck at spey casting, wind or no wind. I did pull off a couple nice one handed double speys on the Bighorn a couple weeks ago.

How was that trip? I was sad that I did not get to attend.

Good trip. All 22 people caught fish. None of the monsters that are in there, but plenty over 20 inches. It was really crowded, as everything else in the state is blown out. I was glad for the crowds so we weren't the ones causing the problem - it just meant you had to find a good spot and stay there. You should come over this summer and fish it. I'll post some pics.
