    SweetOld school, I like it! I thought I recognized the gold reel seat and wood inlay. I have those same rods in 5 thru 10 wts. One of the advantages of have a buddy who was one of Gary Loomis's first employees. The 7 thru 10 have removable fighting butts, which I think would be a great feature today on some 6 & 7 wts. I always like the action of their IM6 rods.
    I also have those blanks in the original STR 1141S and STR 1141C(4 wt IM6 blanks)spinning and casting rods. The first Loomis rod, which I still have I bought from them when they were building rods out of a guys garage right after they started G Loomis.
