    Dude, I RARELY chime in on ethics; however Rocky Ford is a no wading stream. I can see by your feet and all the mud stirred up that you were well in the stream. I am sure you were not aware of the rule, but please stay out of that water.

    Thanks for the reminder. I did know that it was a no wading stream, hence the "no waders", however, I had to make a difficult choice. The fish was actually released by a buddy angler and he did not revive it properly, and it swam away 5 feet, and turned belly up. We all agreed at the time, the best course of action would be to dance on the rocks out to the fish and attempt to save it. I did, and I also slipped, but the fish was revived once I got to a spot where I could work on re-oxygenating her properly and she swam on. I may have done some damage to the habitat by stepping and falling off the rocks. It was a tuff call. In no way did I take your comments as inappropriate. It is good you are being a steward of the fisheries. Thanks. Jeff
