    ST. JOE CUT

Thanks to some great advice on this site, I wandered up the St. Joe and stumbled into my first Idaho Cutt's. I was about 1 mile short of Calder. A local passed us and came back about an hour later. He told us there was a rod in every hole up around the Avery area. Aside from that, this river is worth the 2 hour drive from Coeur d'Alene if you are ever over there.

The beauty of a 4 piece rod is the ability to fish anywhere, anyhow, anytime! Will you hold it against me if I start catching the monster carp 7 miles from my house??? I hardly consider myself THE Brown Trout guy based on your photo gallery!
