    B Run Coho

This sucker nailed an orange bugger at the end of the swing at dusk. It jumped about eight times before I could get it on the reel. Too bad I did not hook into him a week earlier.

Thanks SP Rd Steve for tailing it for me.

There are two runs of Coho in our local waters. The A run runs South when it hits the Pacific Ocean while the B run runs North. The A run fish are much smaller and start to migrate back in Sept. The B run usually get large because they have a better food source in the North Pacific. They return to our waters in Oct and Nov.
