Sorry for the confuse. I tie this fly followed the principle of the shock and awe pattern. Just realized that John Barr have develop his Slumpbuster few years ago...but I tied this fly in the tube style...

    Nice looking flies.
You’ve used elements from several different patterns and combined them. I think that qualifies as something you can name yourself.

I think they look sweet, wasn't trying to dog them. Red eyes are always good for sulking predators.

Thanks Anil, I have to say your Shock and awe is the best pattern for the river stipers! They dance...

I love how a simple cone head bunny leach gets call a "slumpbuster" and then is marketed to the hype driven fly fishing industry...well I guess all comercial indevors are hype oriented...good buisness
I do like the copper john though...

Give it a try... the super heavy cone and tube action won't disappoint you and you will realized the reasons that I give the credit to it originator- Shock and Awe... The swim action definately different from the simple bunny leech... just in IMO... or I will simplely call it " coneheaded wooly bugger...

Dude that's like every fish' staple diet. When Rowdy needs to match the hatch that's what he puts on every time!!!
